General WoW Gold Guide - General Tips

This guide contains the newest, most secret and best ways to fill your character's
bags with gold for the current World of Warcraft version. You do not have to be
level 60 to gain advantage from this guide. This guide contains lots and lots of
different ways to obtain loads of gold, starting from level 1.

Methods that have this mark are hot stuff and might even get nerfed in the
future! Don't miss these!

General Tips

- If you want to gain lots of money starting from the beginning, you should
choose mining and skinning as your professions. Fishing is also useful if you like
it, though you won't make much use out of it until you have around 150+ fishing
skill.

- NEVER buy any equipment for your character until you are over level 10.
Quests and world drops will provide your items until then.

- Buy your backpacks ASAP! The bigger, the better. Or if you have a friend that
can make them get them to make you a few runecloth backpacks and mail them
to you.

- Do every possible quest! Especially ones that require grinding.

- Do not take Engineering or Blacksmithing as your professions. These are two of
the biggest money sinks in the professions currently available.

- Pick up every item you find. Sell greys and other vendor fodder to NPC vendors
and sell white trade goods, greens and blues in AH.

- If you hold shift button while looting, you will save a few seconds by auto
looting all items on the mob.

- When you sell stuff in AH, always put a buyout! This way you will sell faster.
Also make the price slightly lower than other people sell. Don't go too low,
because you can ruin the economy in the long term by creating undercutting
wars between you and other AH sellers.

- The faster you kill mobs, the more money you will gain! So you should always
fight mobs that are at least 1-3 levels below you. The best example would be
when farming for money to find humanoid mobs that con green to you, and take
on a few of them at a time.

- If possible, try to level your character by killing beasts and humanoids. If you
are a skinner, you can skin the beasts you have slain. And humanoids will drop
coin on every kill.

- True money making starts after level 10! So do not waste your time by farming
things when you are level 1. Concentrate on the exp until you are at least level
10! However, you will also gain lots of money even at level 1 if you choose
mining and skinning. I had 10 gold when I was level 5 because I spent time in
different mines in Elwynn. Mining and skinning take time and most people would
rather buy the ore/skin from the ah than spend time getting it when blasting
through leveling a trade skill.

Notice these before you continue any further!

- When I talk about prices, I mean buyout price, not the starting bid.

- Prices vary, depending on realm. Each realm has its own economy, and
something that is rare and expensive on gorganash, may not be so rare on
hellscream.

- Everything in this game is about luck, and random numbers. Sometimes you
have to kill a monster 1000 times until it drops something cool, sometimes you
have to kill it only once. If it drops a green/blue/purple/orange item on your first
kill, feel lucky, try a few more times on farming that mob, but don't waste
precious time on it for too long.

-All methods described in this guide are solo methods. You do not need a group
when doing these tips. In fact a group will slow your income a bit as you have to
be fair and split all earnings and drops with your party.

- Gold per hour is hard to predict. Sometimes you will get 10g in a hour and next
time you will gain 700g when you find an epic. Also, for example, Linen cloth
sel s for only 5 silver on some realms, and other realms might have it go for over
2 gold! So you should definitely check your AH prices before you decide what to
do. Research for your realm is easy, just go to the AH and see what the average
buyout price on items listed here is. If they match or are better, shoot for those
items to farm.

- I've given my personal score to every grinding spot. This is between 1 and 10:
1 being the lowest and 10 the highest.

- Serious gold making is time consuming, so you should have lots of time if you
want to become rich. As in real life, what you take away is dependent on the
work you put into it.

- This guide does not contain the basics of WoW as this is just a money making
