WoW Flame Leviathan Guide
2010 - 2 - 3Fight Details
Before the fight starts, players will choose one of three different vehicles. These are a chopper, a demolisher or siege engine. The players must then fight through an Iron Dwarf army in order to reach Flame Leviathan and then use those vehicles to beat him.
However, unlike standard PvP vehicles and mounts, the vehicle's effectiveness is improved in large part by the player's gear. So, for example, a vehicle ridden by a character in mostly blue or quested gear will be somewhat less effective than a player riding one in epic or legendary gear. The Flame Leviathan is a heavy hitting machine and has different Hard Modes.
During the fight, there will be four towers. One of the objectives of the fight is to destroy these. If they are not destroyed, the fight will be more difficult. The difference here, similar to the Sartharion fight with the drakes, is that the more towers that are up equates to more loot and achievements.
Flame Leviathan Abilities
Flame Vents - Inflicts 3000 Fire damage to enemies around the caster. This can be interrupted.
Battering Ram - Rams the target, dealing damage and knocking it forward. Debuffs them with "Battering Ram": Damage taken increased by 100%.
Gathering Speed - Periodically he moves a bit faster by gaining another stack of this buff. Each stack increases speed by 5% for 10 minutes and stacks to 20. The stack is reset when he is stunned by Overload Circuit.
Turrets - The Flame Leviathan has four turrets. Passengers in the demolishers can be be launched at Flame Leviathan and destroy the turrets and then hit Overload Circuit which stuns Flame Leviathan and causes him to take 50% more damage for 10 seconds.
Rockets - The Flame Leviathan fires rockets constantly at the raid each of which deals 700 damage on landing, this happens once every 1-2 seconds.

The Fight
The Gauntlet
Jump into your vehicles and head north. Most things in the gauntlet is likely to kill you as their damage is very low. The AoE abilities of the choppers and demolishers make fast work of the smaller mobs.
Note: The Iron Colossus mobs can cast a Ground Slam, it is a 7 second cast and can be interrupted. It deals a lot damage and the siege engines can interrupt it or you can run away and out range it.
As progressing the siege engines should be destroying the towers since they stop the dwarves continuously spawning from the tower. There is no need to clear the entire area unless you want to as remaining mobs will leave you alone when you fight Flame Leviathan.
After you make it through the gauntlet there will be a repair circle on the right. Run over it to get healed to full before you engage the final packs before the boss. Do it now because you can't heal up once you engage the boss.
Also before you engage stock up on Liquid Pyrite; Shoot passengers out into the air and have them use Grab Crate to stock up on five barrels each.
The Flame Leviathan
After the last Iron Colossus dies the Flame Leviathan will come out.
The choppers should drop tar in front of the door and Demolishers should ignite it so he takes damage as soon as he comes out.
Siege Engine Tactics
The fight is mainly having the Siege Engines kiting him, keep in front of him with Steam Rush as necessary. If you get too close he will hit you with Battering Ram and the debuff stacks.
Every 30 seconds he will change targets to a different siege engine, mark them and chase them around. If you do not have two siege engines active for some reason he will pick a different unit.
Try to use Electroshock to interrupt his Flame Vents. It helps to reduce the damage done to both the choppers and demolishers when they are in range. He should cast two vents inbetween every target switch. So you can use the pattern of "shock shock run" and substantionally reduce both raid and self damage.
Chopper Tactics
Try to work with your siege engine drivers to establish a path to kite on and drop tar in it. This will slow him slightly and also deals significant damage when ignited.
Use Sonic Horn while Tar is on cooldown to deal additional damage.
You have very low health, try to be very careful to never get hit by Battering Ram and avoid Flame Vent damage.
Demolisher Tactics
Passengers need to use Reload Ammo to charge up Hurl Pyrite Barrel, which deals significant damage.
If you are destroying turrets you also may want to get your passenger up onto the Flame Leviathan and then be ready to get them back later.
