How to start a profession in World of Warcraft
2010 - 2 - 1In World of Warcraft ( WOW ) you are always questing for something; experience, gold, loot you name it.
Part of that quest is to earn gold by your professions.
You will need to level up in your professions as you do your level. As you do, you will be able to create/farm high level items and make more gold!
step 1 When you start a toon/character you are close to your home city. You will need to go to your home city or any home city in your "Team" Alliance/Horde and right click on a guard and select Profession Trainer then select the type of profession you want to train in.
Step 2 NOTE: You can only have two main professions and 2-4 secondary professions.
After you get your professions, it's time to start leveling up. As you do you will need to go back and enable more levels with it topping off currently at 450. It might go up with an expansion.
Step 3 After you get to 300 you will need to travel to another place which requires The Burning Crusade expansion after you get to 375 you will need to travel to Dalarn and require The Warft of the Lich King.
Once you top of at 450 you can now earn money from farming and doing work for other people in game.
